Private by default

WeStreamTV is built for friends and family. Your watch activity, ratings, watchlist and comments are only visible to people you have added as friends. Nobody else can browse your profile or see what you watched.

What we store

• Account: email address, name and avatar so you can sign in and be recognised by friends.
• Watch activity: titles you mark as watched, your ratings, notes, and the streaming services you use.
• Connections: your friend list and any invites you share.
• Preferences: privacy settings, notification choices and app settings you control.
• Usage data: anonymised, aggregated page views and feature usage so we can improve the app. We do not track you across other websites.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal data. Your watch activity is shared only with your accepted friends. If you set your account to private, even your profile details are hidden from non-friends. Public marketing share cards only show titles and images you choose to share.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in our secure backend (Lovable Cloud), hosted in regions with strong data-protection standards. Backups are encrypted and access is restricted to the minimum required to run the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure anonymous usage. You can clear these at any time from your browser, but you may be signed out.

Your controls

You can export or permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Your data. Deletion removes your profile, watch history, ratings, comments and friendships.
